A perfect place for a perfect vacation! The pictures were great, but didn't quite capture the beauty of this house. It's neat, clean and well decorated. The AC was great, even though we didn't have to use it that much. All appliances were in good condition. The nearby swimming pool was awesome. We were glad to find beach chairs, towels, toys, etc. We drove to the lagoons everyday (I actually ran, and my wife drove the kids). We got there quite early, and never had any problems with parking. We're grateful to the Murdock family for letting us stay in their house. We'll definitely come back. Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with young children, romantic getaway

Great family vacation home. We stayed in this home for a week and we loved it. Beautifully decorated home with lots of room for 6 adults and a toddler and baby. Came with high chair and playpen so that was great. Very comfy beds, very clean and well maintained home. We loaded up on groceries at Costco and Safeway and had great meals outside, over looking the golf course (watch out for flying golf balls back there). Days were spent exploring the beaches and Lagoons, which had nice calm water for the kids and lots of grass/shade too. You can walk to the beach from the house but we usually ended up driving because of everything we had loaded up for the day, ie. chairs, towels, food, snorkel gear, beach toys....it was too much to carry. There is limited parking so get there early in the morning (or one of us would just drop off the kids and gear). The house comes with all the beach accessories you need, even flip flops, hats and sunglasses if you forgot yours! The pool and hot tub are a short walk from the house, very kid friendly and lots of lounge chairs. The golf course is right there, you can rent clubs and shoes. There is an ABC store you can walk to, nice for grabbing food/snacks instead of driving into town. Day trips to Waikiki beach and the North Shore were nice but we loved Ko Olina and having a home to come to at the end of the day. We would definitely come back to this home. Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children

Our family of 7 were in Hawaii for two weeks for the wedding of our son. We had stayed in Ko Olina before, but this rental was exceptional...and in a gated community of Ko Olina. The furnishings were exceptional, the applicances were all high-end and the location overlooking the 18th greeen cannot be beat. The home is beautiful and just as advertised. The beach chairs, the water floats, beach towels, and extra folding table and chairs for additional party guests were all part of the items provided. And to be greeted with a goodies basket upon our arrival was the icing on the cake. Dinner at Roy's...just out the back door and down the sidewalk. We could not have been more pleased with our stay...it made the wedding all the more special to be able to stay in such a lovely home. Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children

Great Vacation Home. This home was wonderful & my family, Me, Husband & 2 boys (8 & 11 yrs old) and my cousins family of 4 loved it. It worked out great for all of us. The lagoons that we visited were awesome and the kids loved the pool too. We would definitely recommend this property & their management to our friends and associates, and are planning another trip next year. See you then. Excellent Place to Stay!!! Our family really enjoyed your home, so comfortable and beautiful. Everything was great. We were there for a family wedding which was beautiful (by the Marriott). Had everything we needed. Nice to have the washer/dryer and beach towels. Fun to walk to the lagoons. Great to be away from the busy touristy area. The patio was nice to eat on and relax. View of the golf course was nice too. Thank you for letting us use your home. Comfortable quiet location for family or honeymoon couple. The home was very comfortable and in a great quiet location. The kitchen was complete with everything needed and the patio with barbecue had plenty of room for outside cool breezes. The balcony off of the master bedroom was very nice for a honeymoon couple to enjoy the evenings. I highly recommend this luxurious home for families who want to spend quality time together without the need to go far. It's a great place for a quiet get-a-way with the family. Beautiful, Affordable, Exceeded our Expectations! Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at this Ko Olina luxury golf home! It was exactly as stated - beautifully and comfortably appointed. It worked out perfectly for our group of extended families who were there to attend a family wedding on North Shore. The rooms are laid out so each couple or small family had their own bedroom, bathroom and plenty of privacy. The main living areas were super comfortable and the top-of-the line appliances and finishes in the kitchen were awesome - not to mention, spotless. It was extremely convenient to have a washer and dryer and a two car garage - which we definitely used! We loved the location - relaxing and quiet with scenic views of the golf course - yet nestled in a safely gated neighborhood that was perfect walking distance to the 4 lagoons. Ko Olina is conveniently situated so that it's easy to get to other parts of the island - yet a great haven from the chaos of Waikiki and traffic jams of the North Shore. Our group was fortunate to charter a boat at the Ko Olina dock and go snorkeling about 10 minutes north of the lagoons. We saw and swam with a group of dolphins and enjoyed many varieties of sea creatures in an amazing warm reef area. The planning and reservation process went off without a hitch and the owners were friendly and accommodating. I would love to return to Hawaii and be able to stay in this property again :):):) PS - Received a thank you email and our full deposit back within a week of our stay! Great vacation home. We stayed in this Ko Olina home for a week in May 2010 while we got married at Lanikuhonua, also in Ko Olina. The whole Ko Olina resort was excellent, and this house really topped it all off. The decor and furnishings were all great. Having beach towels, toys, cooler, etc all available was very convenient. The lanai and bbq were certainly enjoyed. I can't say enough, we had a great stay and would definitely return to this property. Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Absolutely Awesome! Amazing House, High end kitchen and appliances (kitchen was stocked nicely) nice lanai which backs on the 18th Hole Green of the Ko Olina Golf Course. Pretty nice to golf and finish in your backyard. Property Manager was honest and straightforward and was quick to respond. Renting Golf Carts was fun and really helped getting stuff to the beach. House has a two car garage, beach toys and supplies. Four Lagoons were amazing for young kids, they were calm and had lots of fish while snorkeling. Paradise Cove Luau was very close and is a must do. Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway

Perfect vacation spot. This was a beautiful and well maintained property. It was the perfect home away from home and had everything we could possibly need. Kitchen was well stocked, high end appliances, beautifully decorated. Loved all the open space. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room for a larger party. Fun to eat dinner on the lanai as we overlooked the beautiful golf course view. Beach was a short 10 minute walk away but we rented a golf cart to more easily load up all of our beach stuff and haul our kids to the lagoons. Loved going walking early in the morning on the boardwalk around the lagoons. Also enjoyed breakfast at Kolohe's as we looked out over the ocean. So relaxing and peaceful. Lagoons had calm waters and was perfect for our kids. Wonderful vacation and great value! Definitely recommend! Top of the Line! This was absolutely one on the best locations on the island. The property was clean and maintained. Everything you could possibly need was provided including small appliances and paper products. It is only a short walk to just about everything at the resort. The ABC store has wonderful sandwiches and salads, as well as groceries. Although a bit pricy, the golf course is outstanding and an excellent place to play. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice relaxing vacation! Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing

Great time in this Ko Olina Villa!! Our experience at this villa was way more than expected. We felt so at home here and it had everything we needed. And the location was great, right in front of the pool and minutes away from 4 lagoons. I would highly recommend this place to any of my friends.

Great place, easy trip! My significant other and I stayed here with 2 other couples. Each couple had their own room with at least a queen sized bed and bathroom. It worked out great. It is a very nice home, and we were very appreciative of the welcome basket when we showed up starving after the plane trip. Lagoons, Roy's, a large ABC store, and 2 fast food restaurant are within 15 minutes walking. We grilled at the BBQ at the pool 3 nights, this was a great setting. High patio/cabana area to eat by the grills. It was great that shampoo, conditioner, and soap, laundry soap and dish soap were provided, saved us buying a whole bottle for the week. We did laundry halfway through so that we could just bring carry-on luggage. We would definitely stay here again.

Paradise at its best! This was the perfect vacation rental for our family of 7. The home was well-stocked and extremely clean. This was a perfect location, close to the beach, close to shopping. The kids had a great time exploring the 4 lagoons, especially with the sea turtles there. The pool was practically in the back yard (except for the fence). The owners were very helpful throughout the entire rental process. We wish we could have stayed longer and would easily return. It is soooooo relaxing there! Thank you so much! My family and I had a wonderful stay at this two story townhouse in Ko Olina. With our three young grand children ages 9, 7 and 4 and four adults, the three bedroom and three bath home was perfect for our needs. The unit was wonderfully furnished and had all of the household items for a vacation home including pool and ocean play items for the children like a buggy board and tube. The master bedroom was set apart so we could let the kids play and escape if we wanted to and best of all was the community pool and barbeque in back and next to the unit. Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children

We had a fabulous stay at the 3bd villa with our two young kids and 85 year old grandmother. The townhome was very clean, well-appointed, family-friendly and very, very comfortable. The downstairs bedroom is next to a full bath. The upstairs bedrooms are roomy. There was a lovely welcome basket waiting for us on arrival which was a godsend as the kids were family famished. The complex's location is ideal. You are 30 minutes out of the hustle bustle of Waikiki but easily can get to all points of the island. The lagoons are beautiful and perfect for families. They are about a 15 minute walk from the townhome with little kids in tow, but you can drive to them easily. The pool is adjacent to your backdoor and offers a lovely water feature. Unfortunately, there is no BBQ at the house, but you can use the ones at the pool. Consider the Super Target one exit away for groceries (not fresh produce). It's much, much cheaper than the Safeway. Overall, we would stay again in a heartbeat and would recommend the home highly to anyone traveling to Oahu. We had three couples visit, two of whom hadn't been to Hawaii before. They all were very happy with the site. The home looked just like the photos on the website and the description on the site captured it all. There was plenty of room for hanging out together as well as places to get away from each other. The home had everything needed to cook meals, which saved money on take-out. The location was great for daily walks to the beautiful beach. The pool was nearby and was used to work on tans. We would recommend the home to others and already plan to rent it again this year when a new set of visitors arrive. Great Vacation Rental! I just got back from staying at the Murdock's 3 Bedroom Villa in Ko Olina. It was better in person than the pictures and I already thought the pictures looked good before staying there. The Villa had everything we needed and then some. Anytime I make a trip back out to Oahu, I plan on hopefully being able to stay here again. Mahalo!! Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children

I just want to thank you. The condo was beautiful and clean. We went with my son, daughter-in law and two grandchildren (8 & 10 yr old). We had plenty of space and the kids had a great time both at the pool and the 4 beautiful lagoons. I would definitely recommend this property to friends. Our extended family of six adults and two children, made our first visit to Hawaii for a wedding. All aspects of the home were exceptional. There was extra room in the home where we could spread out, the kitchen was well-stocked with needed equipment, basic spices and condiments. The furniture was beautiful and comfortable. However, it was the setting and outdoor environment that we enjoyed the most. The backyard borders the 18th hole and the cart path for the golf course, and by walking the path for 100 yards, we arrived at Roys Restaurant, AAA highly recommended eatery. By following streets and then paths in the gated community for a 10-minute walk, we were led to the four lagoons for beach and ocean activities, including the lagoon shared by the new Disney resort. The home is relatively close to Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial, and the H2 highway, leading to the top of the island and the major surfing beaches. Best of all, for those of us from Kansas, we were in a beautiful home, surrounded by water, flowers, and wildlife, and miles away from the hectic, no-parking, crowded areas of Honolulu. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Red Pine. The colors in the canyons and mountains were beautiful. The directions were easy to follow and our Chalet was everything it was advertised to be. It was clean and the decor fit in very well with the rustic atmosphere. It had all the amenities such as dishes and cooking utensils to full laundry facilities. We were able to cook a nice meal in as well as go out and enjoy some of the nice restaurants nearby. I really enjoyed the closeness of the outlet shops, theaters and other attractions. There were great hiking trails and the old Park city town was very quaint with many interesting boutiques, art shops and other attractions. The base camp for the ski resort was just down the street from us with lifts to take you to the top of the mountains.There was a very laid back and relaxing feel about the area as well as beautiful surroundings. I would definitely recommend this as a good get-a-way spot. The manager was also very helpful and available when we had any questions. My husband and I look forward to visiting again when we need a weekend get-a-way. We stayed here for a romantic getaway. We didn't use the upstairs part of the condo, where there were 4 additional beds. The king size bed in the master suite was VERY comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels and linens. The condo was tastefully decorated and very clean. We loved the flat screen TV in the master suite. The view from the balcony was nice and we enjoyed being close to the canyons resort. We loved going on the Alpine Slide and coaster which is just a couple miles away. Lots of great dining options in Park City to choose from. We didn't get to use the pool and tennis courts on this trip but we went and checked them out. The clubhouse wasn't too far of a walk, however if you were going to bring a lot of pool gear, you might just want to drive over there. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks!

I took my wife to the chalet for a romantic, weekend getaway to celebrate her birthday. I was very happy with the very comfortable king size bed in the master suite because I have a bad back. We loved having all the appliances necessary to keep food and drinks and to cook our own steak and potato dinners. It saved us from spending too much money at the restaurants. The chalet was very cozy and very clean. We loved having flat screen TVs in the master bedroom and the living room, except they were out of sync by a second. We loved shopping at the name brand factory outlet stores only 5 minutes away. In the same area are restaurants, grocery stores, theaters. It isn't walking distance, but easy to get to. We were sad the chalet didn't allow pets, but that is normal for all the chalets at the Canyon's Resort. The fall colors are splendid. We wish we had more time to explore the area and to go hiking. Maybe next time. We would highly recommend our family and friends stay at the chalet.

We had a wonderful holiday here in Oahu and enjoyed your fantastic home! We had 5 adults and 3 kids. Loved the location, we stayed in a similar house in KO Olina last year, your location is better for access to the Golf Course, the Ko Olina Shuttle and the Beaches. Your place is really well stocked with plenty of towels and linens. Although we've been to Hawaii many times before, this was our best trip yet! Thank you Murdock Family! We are from Korea. We're here to celebrate my father's 70th birthday. My parents really like this house; of course all of us like this house. It's our first time in Hawaii. Our favorite place is this house :) We hope we come again soon. We'd like to come back here to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. We're really impressed how Murdock Family care about their guest. This house is spacious for our family (We are 8 adults with some kids, too) and really clean. There were plenty of towels, beach towels, beach toys, snorkeling gears, boogie boards, even flip flops and hats. This house is better than we expected. We went to Waikiki, Waikele Outlet Mall, Hanauma Bay, Kailua Beach, Dole Pineapple Plantation, Giovanni's Shrimp Truck and North Shore. All of them were great, but I do not recommend fishing. We went to Ko Olina Marina for fishing. It took about 5 hours. We suffered from sea sick for 4 hours and no fish!!! I think ti's really hard to catch a fish. They use lure. It doesn't work. Anyway, we enjoyed Hawaii. Thank you again. Mahalo!

We had such a fantastic vacation thanks to your fabulous vacation home! It was wonderful to find so many items in the house that helped make this a very comfortable and enjoyable experience! We loved the Hawaiian decor! This was perfect for the eight of us and two young toddlers. The house was so spacious and allowed the little ones to run around. We enjoyed feeding the ducks, walking to Lagoon #2, Paradise Cove Luau, and Turtle Beach. We can't wait to return! Mahalo!

What a wonderful place to stay! We rent homes every time we come, and this was by far the best. We didn't lack for anything, and with a 4-year old and a 1-year old that is quite something. Mahalo nui loa!

We had such a wonderful time here. The house was perfect-thank you for thinking of everything we would need. Our favorite activities: - Lagoon #2, we loved the snorkeling - saw sea turtles and lots of fish. - Polynesian Cultural Center, definitely worht the drive. - Moana Falls hike, kids loved it too, muddy (slippery) but easy hike and beautiful. - Hanauma Bay - great snorkeling, not so good this time - choppy, but a fave of ours. - We saw dolphins right off the beach just 2 minutes away (left toward Waianae instead of to Honolulu, to opposite of big electric plant). - Diamond Head - beautiful view, difficult hike but wonderful (took 1.5 hour round-trip). We had 3 generations here and all had a wonderful time. Mahalo!

We had a wonderful vacation and this home worked so well for all of us. We had plenty of space, an easy kitchen to work in and everything we needed. The tooth fairy was even able to find our granddaughter's pillow in Hawaii. Thank you so much!

Dear Murdocks, we had a wonderful time. Thank you for your hospitality! We truly appreciated the basket of goodies, soap, shampoo, etc. All your small touches made us feel very welcomed. We knew Ko Olina & your home would be lovely, but our experience exceeded all of our expectations! Tips: go to the J.W. Marriott and see the hammerhead sharks and sting rays outside of the lobby!

We stayed here with our five little boys and had a wonderful time. Close to everything but yet not the craziness of Waikiki. All the amenities of home. The house is immaculate with everything you need. The beds are comfortable with wonderful sheets. The TVs in each room were great for downtime in the evenings. The only downside (minimal in my eyes) was there is no supply of spices/condiments for cooking. We left unopened butter and eggs for the next renters hoping they don't get tossed.

We have just returned from Oahu after a wonderful weeks holiday at the Ko Olina property #274862. The pictures in the rental description don't do justice to the quality and comfort found in this home. There were ten of us in our party which included my two sons and their families. After a day at the beach or driving around Oahu, this property quickly became our home away from home with every ammenity imaginable. Every time you opened another drawer or cupboard, there were items you had not even thought which made our vacation even more enjoyable. We were especially pleased with a garage full of toys, surf boards and boggie boards for us to enjoy and not worry about renting or purchasing. The property was well maintained and when we had a small internet problem, I emailed the owner and it was dealt with promptly. All the bedrooms were very confortable especially the master suite overlooking the eighteenth green at Ho Olina golf course. The suite has a large bedrom, walk-in closet and bathroom. The kitchen has every convenience which made are stay more enjoyable and carefree. We hadn't been back to Oahu in thirty years, long before Ko Olina was even thought of. But its an amazing area with good highway connections to the rest of the island especially the north shore where there was a major surfing competition underway which we enjoyed one day from Sunset Beach. Need I say more. If you need a larger place for a big family or maybe one that could accomodate three or four couples, you will have no concerns when booking this property. This property is beautiful, comfortable and family friendly. There were 8 adults and 4 children in our group and we highly recommend this area and property. There are so many opportunities to either rest and relax in this area, or get out and do many different activities and sightseeing. The property was exactly what we expected from the photos and online description. We were in Ko Olina for a family wedding, and our party of nine, including two children, stayed for four days. We rented a golf cart that was helpful in hauling beach gear, kids, and a relative with a recent hip replacement to the lagoons. The wedding and reception, which were within walking distance, kept us busy most of the time, and with two children in tow, we didn't venture out for any sightseeing. We enjoyed meals at home, in addition to the luau at Paradise Cove and the rehearsal dinner at Roy's, right next door. The accommodations were excellent, and all reported that their beds were comfortable and the bathrooms exceptional. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting on Oahu. Excellent Vacation Experience! My family's stay at this residence was a very pleasant and relaxing one. The property is very well kept and clean. Everything we needed was provided and the property manager I dealt with was very professional and thorough from beginning to end. I liked the pool nearby (just walking distance and great for kids) and the golf cart rental service was excellent. We loved our stay in Ko'Olina, and we absolutely loved staying here! The property was exactly what we expected given the description and pictures, so we were thrilled! The neighborhood is gated and feels very safe and secure. The condo itself is incredibly clean and well taken care of, and there are so many little "extras"... small appliances, shampoo and soap, a sweet welcome basket (which was perfect, we were very hungry when we got there!). Munro and Rachel definitely make the place welcoming and comfortable! The Ko'Olina area is different from Honolulu and Waikiki, which is exactly what we were looking for... If you're looking for crazy night life, this will not be the place for you. If you're looking for somewhere beautiful and peaceful and completely serene, you will love this area!! The actual location of the condo is quite a walk from the Ko'Olina lagoons, but my parents did the walk multiple times each day and loved it. (The lagoons are so beautiful and definitely my very favorite thing about this area.) There is also a pool right behind the property, although you do have to walk around a few condos to get there and can't get through right behind the villa. Most of us went to the pool at least once per day, and the walk was not a big deal at all... a minute or so... No problem! The pool area is beautiful and reminds me of an expensive resort. Loved it! You could spend a lot of relaxing pool/lagoon/sun time in the Ko'Olina area. The Paradise Cove Luau (right in the Ko'Olina community) is wonderful! I've done it twice now and we absolutely love it! If you're wanting to see a little more, Pearl Harbor was about 25 mins away, and Waikiki was about 45 (give or take a little depending on traffic, which can be a big issue or no issue at all, depending on the time/day). If it's your first time to Oahu, I absolutely love the drive up the H3 to Kaneohe and Kailua, it's so pretty! And not like any roads we have in the midwest, lol.... From the beginning, Munro and Rachel were incredibly helpful and gracious to work with, and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience here. I absolutely recommend this property to someone who is looking for a beautiful, safe, comfortable and peaceful place to stay in the Ko'Olina area.If we're ever lucky enough to head back to Oahu, we would absolutely not hesitate to stay here again. We were four adults and had a great stay at this updated Red Pine condo! Red Pine is convenient to the Cabriolet lift at the Canyons, and is a short drive into Park City. We all appreciated the roominess of the condo. Also, the washer & dryer were a bonus. We had some very snowy days & it was nice to be able to throw wet stuff into the dryer at the end of the day. It was also nice that the condo was stocked with some basics like sugar, oil, foil/plastic wrap, laundry detergent, etc. We did cook some nights & I appreciated not having to buy a whole bottle of olive oil for the 2 tablespoons I needed for my dinner! Will definitely stay here again if we come back to the Canyons.

The Townhome was clean, attractive and plenty big enough for 2 families. 15 minutes to the Jordanelle Gondola. My kids didn't mind the drive because we always spotted some deer to and from the mountain. My 8 year old loved the pool and we only saw one other family on the 2 days we went after skiing. I plan on returning in the future and would recommend to anyone looking for a Deer Valley experience at a fraction of the price.

We found this home to be very spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with kitchen, beach and all other supplies. Furnishings are of high quality. Conveniently location with an easy walk to the beaches, pool and convenience store. A beautiful sunrise view from the master bedroom lanai, overlooking the golfers hitting into the 18th green. This was our first time staying at Ko'olina and we found the area very relaxing and beautiful. Really enjoyed the pristine beaches and the lagoons. With our young adult children, this location is close enough to the city and outlet shopping, so that there was always something extra to do if you so chose. Conveniently located close to Costco too! We also rented the nearby 3 bdrm villa also for rent by the Murdocks, which made for a perfect multi-family getaway. We would highly recommend this location to anyone and we hope to return in the not too distant future!
